Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) chaired a key party meeting that lasted nearly six hours, during which several important organizational and political matters were discussed.

One of the major decisions taken during the meeting was the launch of a large-scale digital membership registration program for the BRS party across Telangana.

BRS Membership Process to Go Fully Digital

KCR reportedly stated that since processes such as the Election Commission of India’s SIR process and voter list revisions are increasingly being conducted digitally, the BRS party should also modernize its membership enrollment system.

As part of this move, the party leadership decided to conduct membership registration entirely through a digitalized system.

The decision is being viewed as part of BRS’ efforts to strengthen booth-level connectivity and modernize internal party organization ahead of future elections.

Massive Training Program Planned Across Telangana

To ensure smooth implementation of the digital membership process, KCR directed the party to organize training sessions for party workers across the state.

  • Two party workers will be assigned per booth
  • A total of approximately 71,310 BRS workers will receive training

The training sessions will focus on:

  • Digital membership enrollment procedures
  • Data collection systems
  • Coordination methods
  • Booth-level organization

KCR also instructed party general secretaries to continue conducting special training camps to strengthen the digital membership initiative.

BRS Preparing for Future Political Battles

Political observers believe the digital membership drive is part of BRS’ broader strategy to strengthen grassroots organizational structure after the party’s defeat in the Telangana Assembly elections.

The focus on booth-level training, digital enrollment, and district coordination suggests that the party is preparing aggressively for upcoming political contests and future elections.

The six-hour meeting chaired by KCR is being viewed as one of the party’s most important organizational review sessions in recent months.
