The leader of opposition, K Chandrasekhar Rao, did not attend the presentation of the vote-on-account budget session on Saturday. It was previously announced that he would be present for the budget presentation. Sources say that KCR changed his mind when he found out that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy would lead a delegation to Medigadda barrage on Tuesday. The BRS leaders stated that Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy had planned to meet KCR in the Assembly and invited him to join the visit to Medigadda. However, KCR will be attending a public meeting in Nalgonda on Tuesday where he is expected to address the controversy surrounding irrigation projects.
