KCR remains optimistic after assembly election defeat, vows to bounce back

K Chandrashekar Rao, the leader of BRS party, spoke at the State Formation Day celebrations in Hyderabad. He mentioned some people, whom he called “short persons,” who were talking about the downfall of BRS. Rao believes that the party’s loss in the Assembly elections was just a temporary setback and is confident that they will regain power in the next elections.

Rao recalled the struggles of the Telangana movement and how the region and its people were mistreated. He praised Professor Jayashankar for his dedication to the cause of Telangana when no one else dared to speak up. Rao criticized the Congress and TDP leaders for not supporting Telangana.

He questioned the government’s decisions and actions, particularly mentioning comments about Harish Rao’s role in power cuts by someone he referred to as a “CM-level person.” He advised party leaders not to focus too much on the Lok Sabha election results and reminded them that they will have another chance to govern in the future.

Rao congratulated Naveen Kumar for winning as an MLC from Mahbubnagar. He expressed his belief that BRS will come back to power in the upcoming elections and urged his party members to remain focused on their goals.
