Dr K Laxman, the BJP OBC Morcha national president and Rajya Sabha MP, criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for not giving recognition to those who fought for the separate statehood of Telangana in 1969 during the 10-year state formation celebrations.

Dr Laxman questioned the moral integrity of Revanth Reddy and his role in the second phase of the Telangana movement. He emphasized that those who fought for the state were not seeking wealth or positions, but simply wanted acknowledgment for their struggles and sacrifices.
