    NIA Conducts Raids in Several States, Targeting Gangsters, Smugglers, and Khalistani Network

    • The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at dozens of locations in several Indian states, including Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, as part of a broader conspiracy investigation targeting the nexus of gangsters, smugglers, and Khalistani elements.
    • The raids aim to dismantle the network involved in violent activities, including targeted killings, attacks on government buildings, extortion, weapons and drug smuggling, and organizing anti-India activities abroad.

    Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that Telangana has become the top state in paddy production, surpassing Punjab. He praised government employees for their hard work and commitment in achieving targets. He also highlighted that Telangana is the number one state in sheep production, ahead of Rajasthan. The Chief Minister expressed his pride in the achievements of the health department, particularly in programs like Kanti Velugu, which is being implemented in other states as well.

    The Chief Minister also spoke about the future of food processing industries in the state, stating that the government plans to take up oil palm farming on a large scale, with a target of at least 25 lakh acres. Currently, India is importing palm oil worth Rs one lakh crore.

    The Chief Minister addressed the employees during the inauguration of the District Collectorate in Mancherial and acknowledged that there are still many challenges to overcome. Despite this, he expressed confidence in the government’s ability to achieve its goals through hard work and dedication.
