Telangana ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy criticized former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, calling him ‘mentally imbalanced’ for making baseless accusations against the Congress government. Venkat Reddy stated that KCR had made numerous false promises and served as Chief Minister twice, while the Congress was working hard to fulfill its promises made during the recent assembly elections.

Venkat Reddy also expressed disapproval of KCR’s claim that he had engaged in corruption through irrigation projects and that his company’s work was substandard. He suggested that KCR had lost his mental stability after losing power and his daughter’s arrest. Venkat Reddy condemned Kavitha’s involvement in a liquor scandal in Delhi, stating that it brought shame to Telangana. He predicted that KCR’s party would not perform well in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Irrigation minister highlighted the unfair treatment of Telangana in the use of Krishna River water during KCR’s tenure. He accused KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of collaborating to misuse Krishna water, causing hardship for districts like Nalgonda, Khammam, and Mahabubnagar. The minister praised the current Congress government for demanding a greater share of water for Telangana before the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-2.

Furthermore, the minister claimed that KCR had allowed Jagan to expand the Rayalseema lift scheme capacity, resulting in increased water utilization by Andhra Pradesh post-bifurcation. Uttam also assured that all pending projects in Nalgonda would be completed promptly, including the Dindi and SLBC projects.
