Hyderabad: On Monday, BRS leader K Chandrashekar Rao sent his close associate D Damodar Rao to meet with Kalvakuntla Kavitha, a party MLC, after a recent meeting with KT Rama Rao. The aim was to resolve any tensions.

Damodar Rao, who is a Rajya Sabha member, visited Kavitha’s home with legal team member Gandra Mohan Rao. They had a lengthy discussion lasting three hours.

This meeting was crucial after Kavitha sent a letter to her father, KCR, providing feedback on the party’s recent event in Elukaturthy. The letter, which got leaked, included Kavitha’s remarks about KCR being surrounded by untrustworthy individuals.

Sources revealed that Damodar Rao and Mohan Rao assured Kavitha that KCR viewed her comments positively and advised her not to worry. They suggested that KCR would take suitable action at the right moment. The BRS representatives encouraged Kavitha to avoid making any rash decisions.

They promised Kavitha that all concerns would be addressed amicably and informed her that the party chief would contact her soon.

Following Kavitha’s letter, KCR held discussions with senior leaders KTR and Harish Rao at his farmhouse. Party insiders believe KCR may soon emphasize the importance of following party rules. Recently, Kavitha’s residence had not been visited by KCR’s family members; instead, visitors were primarily from her husband Anil’s side.

The situation remains tense as it is uncertain whether Kavitha will stay quiet or speak to the media. Rumors suggest she might consider starting a new political party. Social media has seen a surge in support for Kavitha in recent days.
