Kho-Kho Tournament Takes Place in Uttanoor on National Sports Day

Gadwal: To celebrate National Sports Day, a Kho-Kho Tournament was held at Zilla Parishad High School in Utnoor. The event was for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls. It was organized by the School Games Federation in Jogulamba Gadwal District and led by Zilla Parishad President Sri A. Somashekar Reddy.

Several important guests attended, including Ijra Mandal’s First Citizen, Mandal Magistrate, and Mandal Tahsildar Smt. Jyothi. Mandal Educational Officer Sri Ramula Dayal and headmasters like Sri P. Thimmareddy and Sri D. Balaram were also present.

Jogulamba Gadwal District SGF Secretary Sri Srinivasulu, Ijra Mandal SGF Convener Sri Basheer Ahmed, and Co-convener Sri Satish Kumar joined the event. Many physical education teachers, other teachers, and a large crowd of excited students participated.

The tournament highlighted the importance of sportsmanship and fitness. It was a chance for students to show their skills and teamwork. The event also served as a selection for district-level competitions, encouraging dedication among the participants.
