Khammam: Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy, the State President of BJP Kisan Morcha, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is working hard to develop the country. He stated that the goal of the government is to build a developed and strong India, known as “Vikasit Bharat.”
On Saturday, Sridhar Reddy visited Kotha Kothuru village in Nelakondapalli Mandal as part of the BJP’s ‘Gaon Chalo Abhiyan’ programme. While speaking to the media, he praised PM Modi for launching several welfare schemes that are helping the poorer sections of society. He mentioned that the Modi government is focusing on the slogan of “Antyodaya,” which means uplifting the last person in society.
He explained that the central government has created many schemes to support people from lower-income groups who were earlier ignored.
Sridhar Reddy also said that the BJP government is farmer-friendly. He highlighted schemes like the Vishwakarma Yojana, which supports traditional artisans, and the Kisan Samman Nidhi, which provides financial help to small and marginal farmers.
He further added that the Modi government has introduced affordable insurance plans, the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana to support girl children, and free ration rice for the poor.
During the event, Sridhar Reddy also honored beneficiaries of the Vishwakarma Yojana. Many BJP leaders took part in the programme.
