Union Minister G Kishan Reddy made a statement saying, “A Vanavasi (forest dweller), Grama Vasi (villager), and Nagara Vasi (city dweller) together make a Bharatha Vasi (Indian citizen).” He was speaking during the Lokmanthan Bhagyanagar 2024 Programme on Friday. He expressed disappointment that people are often divided based on caste and language. He praised the Lokmanthan event for being held in Hyderabad, noting that it promotes national unity and is free from any political bias.

Hundreds of tribal artisans will take part in the Lokmanthan event. They will showcase their handicrafts and explain their skills through various art exhibitions and stalls. This event has previously been held in cities like Bhopal, Ranchi, and Assam, but this is the first time it is being organized in South India, specifically in Hyderabad.
