Union Minister and State BJP chief G Kishan Reddy has demanded an explanation from BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao. He wants to know why Rao criticized the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal but stayed silent about the arrest of his daughter, BRS MLC K Kavitha, in a liquor scam in Delhi.
Kishan Reddy called out KCR for being hypocritical, accusing him of making false accusations against the BJP and the Centre for arresting Kejriwal. He also criticized KCR for trying to link Kavitha’s arrest to Telangana politics in order to gain sympathy from the public.
The Union Minister clarified that the liquor scam involving Kavitha has no connection to Telangana or its sentiments. The investigation was initiated based on a complaint filed by officials of the Delhi government, and it is unrelated to the politics of Telangana.
