G Kishan Reddy, the State BJP chief, has warned that if the party comes to power, they will take action against those who are illegally taking land from poor Muslims in the Old City. Reddy stated that these people are building shadikhanas on the grabbed land. The party plans to protest for the rights of the poor Muslims and use bulldozers against those who are involved in this illegal activity.
Reddy also criticized the Congress party, accusing them of doing anything for power. He mentioned the history of the Congress party instigating conflicts between Hindus and Muslims in Ayodhya. Reddy found it shameful that Congress members wore black clothes to Parliament on the day of the Bhumi Puja for Ram Mandir.
Furthermore, Reddy claimed that the Congress party’s minority declaration was a tactic to divide Hindus and Muslims for political gains. He referred to Dr BR Ambedkar’s statement that religious reservations are unconstitutional and proposed that the 4% reservation for Muslims should be given to SCs and STs.
Reddy also criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, claiming that he is contesting from two segments in fear of losing in Gajwel. Reddy believes that KCR will also be defeated by Venkataramana Reddy in Kamareddy. He accused KCR of threatening many who filed nominations against him in Gajvel and Kamareddy to withdraw.
In addition, Reddy criticized KCR’s handling of the medical colleges issue, stating that no applications were submitted and medical colleges did not come to Telangana due to KCR’s incompetence. He questioned how development is possible without timely land allocation.
Reddy also mentioned the party’s plans if they come to power, including setting up a Science City, a textile park, and a cultural center. He stated that JSP chief Pawan Kalyan will campaign for the party and mentioned the number of candidates from different backgrounds in the party’s ticket distribution.
Finally, Reddy assured that if the party comes to power, they will make changes to the TSPSC and hold job fairs to fill vacant positions in government departments. He expressed confidence in the positive response the party has been receiving from the people.
