Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G Kishan Reddy, is happy about the Indian team’s second medal at the Paris Olympics.
On Tuesday, he praised Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh for winning a bronze medal in the 10m air pistol shooting mixed doubles event. He said their achievement is a matter of pride for everyone in the country.
Manu Bhaker also broke a 125-year-old record by winning two medals in the same Olympics. At just 21 years old, she has made the country proud and will inspire future generations.
