The State BJP executive meeting in Hyderabad on Friday focused on supporting the unemployed, farmers, and other neglected groups by the Congress government. Union Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy highlighted the party’s recent successes in Telangana, where they won eight seats and gained 35% of the vote share. The Congress, on the other hand, is facing strong anti-incumbency just seven months after coming to power.

Kishan Reddy discussed the challenges faced by party members over the last decade and emphasized the BJP’s growing influence in the state. He mentioned that the party won eight parliament seats, led in 46 assembly seats, and came second in 44 seats in the recent elections. This indicates that people view the BJP as a primary alternative to the Congress in Telangana.

Critiquing the Congress for promoting corruption in the state, Kishan Reddy accused them of engaging in illicit activities like carrying packages to Delhi under different names like RG Tax, R-Tax, UK Tax, and BV Tax. He also alleged that the KCR family looted Telangana for a decade, while the Congress is now engaged in similar unethical practices like money laundering through land acquisitions, settlements, commissions, and percentages. From the Chief Minister to the MLAs, everyone seems focused on sending money to Delhi.
