He was speaking at an event where he launched the construction of a new building for a degree college, costing Rs 5 crore, and other projects under the AMRUT scheme worth Rs 11.74 crore.

During a review meeting on Parkal’s ongoing development projects, the minister mentioned that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had recently promoted KMTP as an excellent investment destination during a business roundtable organized by the Korea Federation of Textile Industry (KOFOTI). He shared that some major textile companies have shown interest in investing in the park.

Ponguleti also assured that farmers who lose their land for the greenfield highways will receive fair compensation. He highlighted that work on the Konaimakula lift irrigation scheme, which aims to provide water to 7,500 acres in Geesukonda mandal, 2,000 acres in Sangem mandal, and 4,500 acres in Duggondi mandal, would be completed soon.

Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy provided updates on other local projects. He said that the construction of an overhead storage tank and drainage system, with a budget of Rs 11 crore, would be completed soon. He also announced the organization of a mega job fair in the third week of September, which is expected to offer employment opportunities in KMTP.
