In Nalgonda, State Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy met with female municipal workers to address their challenges. He promised to start providing provident funds to these workers from April 1. The Minister also announced plans to build large overhead tanks to improve drinking water in 15 colonies and allocate funds to women’s groups for financial independence.
Furthermore, Minister Reddy discussed initiatives for women’s empowerment through skill development, including the establishment of a new skill center in Nalgonda. He distributed sewing machines to women and planned to provide more machines in the future. District Collector Dasari Harichandana praised the women workers and encouraged them to utilize government welfare schemes.
The meeting was attended by various officials and representatives, including the District Collector and Municipal Chairman. Minister Reddy hosted a lunch for the women workers after the meeting, where he interacted with them.
