Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has stated that his main goal is to defeat Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s BRS and that is why he has joined the Congress party. He had previously joined the BJP hoping that they would take action against KCR’s alleged corruption. However, since he did not see any action being taken, he decided to leave the BJP. Rajagopal Reddy mentioned that he was given respect and priority in the BJP, but his aim was not fulfilled.
Rajagopal Reddy also claimed that BJP and MIM MLAs would support BRS and voting for BJP is essentially voting for BRS. He stated that people want him to join the Congress party and surveys are in his favor. He criticized KCR for prioritizing money and power.
In addition, former MLAs Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and Enugu Ravinder Reddy, along with former MLCs Santhosh Kumar, Neeti Vidyasagar, Akula Lalitha, Kapilawai Dilip Kumar, and Motkupalli Narsimhulu, have visited the AICC office. They are expected to join the Congress party in the presence of AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge.
