Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has decided to leave the BJP and join the Congress party. He will officially join the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. Rajagopal Reddy is expected to run for the Munugodu constituency as a Congress candidate in the upcoming elections.
Before this, Rajagopal Reddy was a member of the Congress and served as an MLA for Manugodu. However, he resigned from the party and joined the BJP. Unfortunately, he faced defeat in the subsequent by-elections. Since then, he has been less involved with the BJP and has not participated in party events.
Now, with the approval of the Congress High Command, Rajagopal Reddy will be rejoining the Congress party.
