In Hyderabad, a conflict is brewing between Minister Konda Surekha and several legislators from the former Warangal district. On Thursday, the Minister and her husband, former MLC Konda Murali, met with AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge.

The couple expressed their strong loyalty to the party and accused political turncoats of disrupting their influence in Warangal. They called for strict action against these individuals for engaging in activities against the party.

Konda Murali submitted a 16-page report to the Disciplinary Action Committee, countering allegations against them. He named several individuals, including Naini Rajender Reddy, Errabelli Swarna, and Kadiyam Srihari, among others.

Murali specifically targeted the District Congress Committee president and the Warangal (West) MLA. He blamed them for electoral losses since 2009, alleging shady land dealings and favoritism towards certain officials. He criticized the MLA for making decisions without their input and overstepping his authority in their area.

Murali accused Revuri Prakash Reddy of betraying them by working with former TDP associates. He claimed that Reddy accepted bribes to reopen controversial crushers, which financially benefited BRS leaders in other areas. He also accused Gandra Sathyanarayana Rao of conspiring against his family by aligning with rival leaders.

The report addressed various accusations against the Konda family, such as making derogatory remarks, promoting groupism, and mismanaging temple properties. Murali rejected claims about his daughter’s political ambitions, saying it was a proud declaration of her as his successor.
