Hyderabad: On Thursday, Forest and Environment Minister Konda Surekha fainted at the Secretariat while heading to a Cabinet meeting.
Officials stated that the minister briefly lost consciousness, but her health was not a concern. She felt dizzy and collapsed on the sixth floor.
A medical team arrived quickly and provided first aid. Doctors attributed her collapse to low blood pressure, noting she hadn’t eaten since morning. This led to her fainting from weakness. The minister soon recovered and joined the Cabinet meeting.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy checked on the minister’s health and instructed doctors to offer prompt medical care as she was attending the meeting.
