Konda Surekha Pledges to Safeguard Forests

Minister Konda Surekha will start working in her ministry at Room No. 410 in the Secretariat, Hyderabad, at 10 am on Monday. On Sunday, officials including R M Dobriyal and V Anil Kumar visited Surekha at her home as a courtesy call.

Surekha expressed that the government is dedicated to safeguarding the environment and increasing forest areas. She emphasized the importance of promoting afforestation activities and urged people to actively participate in planting and protecting trees to preserve the environment for future generations. Surekha also emphasized that protecting the environment is a social responsibility.
