Karimnagar: Chief Minister Narendra Modi visited Varangal to promote development activities aimed at benefiting the people of Telangana, according to CPI State Secretary Koonamneni Sambasiva Rao. On Sunday, he met with district committee leaders and media personnel at the party office in Karimnagar. They questioned how the national tour happened without proposing an amendment to the bifurcation bill.

He said that as per the bifurcation bill, there is an obligation to allocate national funds for the development of Bayyaram Steel Plant, Kajipet Railway Coach Factory, and Kaleshwaram project along with the Girijan University. They also highlighted that Prime Minister Modi shifted the Railway Coach Factory to Gujarat. They further stated that the Vignan Repair Factory, which is currently undergoing development work worth Rs 500 crore, was also initiated with a focus on development.

Accusing the party of not coming to power in the upcoming elections, they alleged that Rs 6 crore worth of work has been initiated to benefit the people. They demanded that Prime Minister Modi reveal how many crores have been sanctioned for Telangana, which is currently under BJP rule. They claimed that their demands are being ignored and other party representatives are being bought with money and using force to gain power in the states. They expressed a fear of a backlash against the BJP for trying to take control in seven states.
