Hyderabad: BRS working president, KT Rama Rao, expressed his disagreement with the approval of Professor M Kodandaram’s name for the MLC post under the Governors quota. He reminded Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan that she is accountable to the people of the State and not to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. The BRS leader questioned the basis of this decision and highlighted the Governor’s previous rejection of nominations due to political affiliations.

On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, Rama Rao unfurled the national flag at the party office Telangana Bhavan. He criticized the BJP’s intention to strengthen Congress in Telangana and questioned the Governor’s support for Congress despite her affiliation with BJP.
