The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is ramping up efforts for the Jubilee Hills by-election after the passing of MLA Maganti Gopinath. On Saturday, K. T. Rama Rao (KTR), the party’s working president, held a teleconference with key election coordinators to plan the campaign.
The BRS is setting up a special war room to manage election activities, including meetings and rallies. Former ministers KTR and Harish Rao will spearhead rallies to boost the campaign.
To keep control of the constituency, the BRS nominated Maganti Sunitha, the late MLA’s wife, as their candidate for Jubilee Hills. The party views this election as vital for maintaining their influence in the area.
The by-election for Jubilee Hills is on November 11, with vote counting on November 14. The election notification will be out on October 13, and candidates must file nominations by October 21. The examination of nominations is scheduled for October 22, marking a key step in the election process.
