Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao spoke at a public rally in Begumpet. He mentioned that despite Congress and BJP ruling for 60 years, they were unable to improve the situation in Begumpet. However, in the 10 years since the formation of Telangana state, with the help of Chief Minister KCR and Minister KTR, significant progress has been made. Corporator Maheshwari Srihari also attended the event.
Rao acknowledged that Begumpet has faced challenges due to its location in a landfill area. During heavy rain, the area experiences flooding. However, efforts have been made to reduce this issue by 50%. Minister KTR will take on the responsibility of underground pipeline construction and channel expansion to provide a long-term solution for Begumpet residents.
Rao emphasized that they have already made some improvements and have been working to alleviate the hardships faced by Begumpet residents for many years. He asked for the people’s support as he runs for MLA in Kukatpally Constituency.
