Hyderabad witnessed a major fire on Friday when flames erupted in a commercial building in Chandanagar. Thick black smoke filled the sky, causing fear among residents and shopkeepers nearby.
The fire started in one of the shops and quickly spread to surrounding units. Within minutes, the blaze destroyed three shops completely. Officials are still investigating what caused the fire.
People in the area noticed the smoke and immediately alerted authorities. The fire department responded quickly, arriving with several water tankers. Firefighters worked hard to bring the situation under control and eventually extinguished the flames.
The incident also caused severe traffic jams in the area. Traffic police were sent to the scene to manage the congestion and keep curious onlookers away from the dangerous site.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported. However, the damage to property was significant. Authorities continue to assess the situation and determine the total loss.
