Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, will release a special postal cover to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy on December 27, at AV College in Hyderabad.
Justice Konda Madhav Reddy served as the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh and Mumbai High Courts and was Governor of Maharashtra.
The Chairman of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy Foundation, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, stated that the special postal cover being released is a significant event that represents the life, works, and values of Justice Konda Madhav Reddy.
The program will be presided over by State Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan. Several notable individuals such as Chief Justice Alok Aradhe, Dr Prathap C Reddy (Chairman of Apollo Hospitals Group), Justice B Sudershan Reddy (Former Judge, Supreme Court of India), and others will also be participating in the event.
The JKMR Foundation was established on February 5, 1998, to honor the services rendered by Justice Konda Madhav Reddy. The foundation has been actively involved in various programs and projects to benefit the underprivileged in the RR District of Telangana. It promotes research in medical, legal, agriculture, cultural activities, and other fields. The foundation also organizes training programs, health camps, lectures, and sports tournaments.
