    Hyderabad: K T Rama Rao, the Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development, Industry & Commerce, launched the eighth batch of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Mohali. The AMPPP is the main program of the ISB-Bharti Institute of Public Policy. It is designed for mid-career and senior civil servants, as well as senior professionals from the private sector. The program aims to help these professionals understand policy dynamics in both the public and private sectors.

    During the launch, KTR emphasized the importance of promoting innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive growth across states. He believes that India has the potential to become a global leader when its strengths are utilized effectively.

    The cohort for the 2023-24 batch consists of 53 participants who have an average work experience of 16 years. The batch includes officials from various services such as the IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, IRS, and Punjab State Civil Service. Additionally, there are professionals from private organizations and even a legislator from Telangana.
