Jagtial: On Saturday, a tense situation arose in Ailapur village within the Korutla mandal of Jagtial district. BRS and Congress leaders clashed verbally with the police.
Earlier, Congress leader Juvvada Krishna Rao accused Korutla MLA Sanjay of spreading misinformation about urea supplies. He invited Sanjay to a public debate on the issue.
On the day of the incident, BRS leaders heading to the Rythu Vedika in Ailapur were stopped by police, leading to a heated exchange. Similarly, Congress leaders and their supporters were also halted, causing temporary confusion. The police eventually managed to disperse both groups.
A few days before, MLA Sanjay had alleged that the Congress government made it difficult for farmers to buy urea. He claimed that farmers could only purchase urea if they also bought zinc.
