Several BRS leaders in Hyderabad have accused the Congress party of deceiving farmers by not providing the ‘Rythu Bandhu’ benefit. They are demanding that intellectuals speak up on behalf of the farmers.

During a press conference, senior leader S Niranjan Reddy, along with G Ranjith Reddy, S Madhusudhana Chary, Maheshwar Reddy, and others, expressed that farmers are upset and disappointed because the government failed to provide the ‘Rythu Bandhu’. The leaders claimed that the Congress party complained to the Election Commission to stop the Rythu Bandu. The Congress party had promised to give Rs 15,000 for three crops immediately after coming to power, but they have not fulfilled this promise. They have also not implemented the Rythu Bandhu policy for tenant farmers. In contrast, the BRS has given Rs 70,000 crore to farmers during their tenure. Niranjan Reddy alleged that not even a single acre farmer is receiving the benefit and accused the Congress party of deceiving and insulting farmers.

Madhusudana Chary emphasized that it is the responsibility of the BRS to remind the “irresponsible” Congress party of its promises. Ranjith Reddy stated that the BRS is strong in the Chevella Lok Sabha segment and will bounce back. He urged Congress leaders to ask the people about the work done by the BRS government.

In summary, BRS leaders in Hyderabad are accusing the Congress party of betraying farmers by not providing the promised ‘Rythu Bandhu’ benefit. They are calling on intellectuals to support the farmers and criticizing the Congress party for their failures and attacks on the BRS government.
