Khammam: Kasam Venkateswarlu, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary, and district party president Nelluri Kotedwara Rao urged BJP workers to view the upcoming local body elections as a challenge. They encouraged members to aim for victory. Both leaders spoke at a special workshop organized by the BJP district unit on Monday.
They emphasized the importance of contesting every seat in rural areas. Each vote, they said, should contribute to the nation’s development.
The leaders criticized the state Congress government for neglecting rural governance. They pointed out that local bodies have not received funds for two years. They credited the Narendra Modi government for directly providing funds, which prevented further deterioration in villages.
