Nalgonda District in-charge and AICC Secretary Sampath Kumar urged party members to build a stronger Congress presence. He highlighted the need for unity and active participation at the grassroots level. Speaking at a gathering at Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s office in Nalgonda on Monday, Sampath Kumar explained that the meeting was part of efforts to reorganize the party in the joint Nalgonda district.
Sampath emphasized that the Congress government is reviving welfare programs and positioning Telangana as a leading state in India. He encouraged party workers to spread awareness about these initiatives to secure victories in the upcoming local elections. Candidate selections for corporation and board director roles will rely on local MLAs’ proposals, focusing on social equality.
MLC Shankar Naik expressed the government’s dedication to supporting marginalized groups. He stressed the importance of securing a majority in local elections and promised that deserving party workers would be included in the election process. Many local leaders and party members attended the meeting.
Additionally, the birthday of All India Congress Committee President and Rajya Sabha member Mallikarjun Kharge was celebrated.
