The Congress Party in Telangana is now accepting applications for candidates in the upcoming Parliament elections. Interested individuals can submit their applications at the special counter set up at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad. The application period will start from February 3.
In Malkajgiri, a Lok Sabha constituency, many people have applied for the Parliament ticket. One of them is popular film actor and producer Bandla Ganesh. Ganesh believes that the Congress Party will win a majority of seats in the elections and he also praised the administration of Revanth Reddy.
However, Ganesh criticized Medchal MLA Chamakura Mallareddy, accusing him of charging fees from students and taking advantage of them. Ganesh made it clear that Mallareddy would not be accepted into the Congress Party even if he applied.
On the other hand, Prasad Reddy, the younger brother of Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, has applied for the Khammam Lok Sabha ticket. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka’s wife Nandini and senior leader V Hanumantha Rao have already applied for the Khammam seat. Sita Dayakar Reddy has applied for the Mahbub Nagar MP seat.
