The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has seized a mall in Armoor town of Nizamabad district for not paying the lease amount. The mall was constructed on RTC land and belonged to the BRS leader who owed over Rs 7 crore to the TSRTC. The RTC also cut off the power supply to the mall.

The multi-storied building, named Jeevan Mall, was constructed by Vishnujith Infra Development Private Limited. It had a multiplex and shopping complex owned by Jeevan Reddy. The RTC had issued notices to the firm to pay the pending lease amount but they defaulted.

After the BRS government left office, the RTC officials started collecting the defaulted lease amounts. The Energy department also cut off the power supply to the mall as Jeevan Reddy owed Rs 2.50 crore to them in dues for many months.
