A new robotic-assisted surgery facility was launched at Malla Reddy Narayana Hospital in Jeedimetla on Wednesday. The facility was inaugurated by actor Jayasudha Kapoor.
With this new technology, the hospital will now offer robotic-assisted knee surgeries. These surgeries combine the expertise of experienced surgeons with advanced technology to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. R. Anjani Kumar, a Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, explained that artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools help in making better surgical decisions. These tools assist in identifying small and complex anatomical structures during surgery, making the process more precise.
Dr. Ch. Bhadra Reddy, Chairman of Malla Reddy Hospital, said that this technology will improve their surgical accuracy and raise the quality of care they provide to patients.
Vice Chairman, Dr. Ch. Preeti Reddy, added that the launch shows the hospital’s commitment to using the latest medical technologies for the benefit of the community.
