    Nagar Kurnool: MLA Dr. Rajesh Reddy visited the unified Palamuru district and urged Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and other officials to speed up the construction of the Vattam Reservoir. He stressed the importance of completing the project quickly to ensure water for farmers in his area, who rely on the reservoir for their crops.

    He also mentioned the need to finish other important projects, such as the Venkatadri Reservoir and the Bhakta Markandeya Project. He said these projects are crucial to providing irrigation water and protecting the interests of the farmers. These issues were discussed during a review meeting at the District Collector’s office, where ministers and officials from the Finance and Irrigation Departments, as well as other MLAs, were present.

    The meeting was attended by Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Planning Committee Vice-Chairman Chinnareddy, and MP Mallu Ravi. They focused on the progress of these major irrigation projects.
