A BC JAC Political Awareness Conference was held in Mahabubnagar on Sunday, where MLC Teenmaar Mallanna demanded a greater political share for Backward Classes (BCs). He also challenged all political parties to oppose the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota, claiming that it is reducing job opportunities for BC youth.

Speaking at the event at Crown Garden Function Hall, Mallanna urged BCs to unite and fight for their rights in governance. He led the attendees in an oath, stating, “We want our share, our honor, and our positions. We will stay united until we achieve political power.” He accused major political parties of neglecting BCs and failing to provide them with proper representation.

Mallanna criticized parties such as the BJP, Congress, and BRS, arguing that if they truly supported social justice, they should immediately remove the EWS quota, which he said unfairly takes away BC opportunities. He also criticized leaders like MP DK Aruna and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, accusing them of frequently switching parties for personal gain. He emphasized that BC leaders remain committed to their principles and do not compromise for power.
