A tragic incident occurred late Monday night in Bandlaguda, where a man allegedly killed his wife and then burned her body. The police have identified the suspect as Faraq Qureshi, who fled the scene after the crime and is currently being searched for by authorities.

The victim was 23-year-old Qamar Begum, who had been married to Qureshi for six years. The couple had two young children together. At the time of the incident, the children were with their grandparents in Hashmabad, far from the scene.

According to investigators, the couple had frequent disagreements. It was reported that during their latest argument, Qureshi, who worked as a labor contractor, ended up killing his wife. Bandlaguda Inspector K. Satyanarayana confirmed details of the case.

The murder took place at 1:40 a.m., and by 1:50 a.m., local residents had informed the police about the situation. Officers arrived quickly and took the victim to a nearby private hospital, but sadly, doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
