    Hyderabad: A sad event occurred when a 40-year-old man died after allegedly falling into an open drain in Suraram, Quthbullapur during heavy rains on Tuesday night. The man, K Padma Rao, reportedly slipped and was swept away by strong currents.

    Local residents quickly informed the police about the incident. The Suraram police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. They are checking if the victim had been drinking, which might have played a role in the incident.
