A man in Hyderabad was arrested for killing his 12-year-old daughter in Miyapur. The man, identified as Banothu Naresh, allegedly murdered his daughter when she resisted his attempt to rape her. At first, a missing person case was filed on June 7, and the girl’s body was found in a forest area in Miyapur on June 14. The police started investigating the case as a suspicious death and eventually arrested Naresh based on CCTV footage analysis.

According to the police, Naresh had a history of alcohol abuse and watching pornographic videos. He pressured his daughter to fulfill his desires, and when she threatened to tell her mother, Naresh killed her in anger. He took her to the bushes near Nadigadda Thanda, assaulted her, and ultimately caused her death by hitting her with a stone. Naresh then left the scene after making sure his daughter was dead. The entire crime took place within 11 minutes.

Naresh returned to the murder site multiple times over the next three days to check on the body. On the day of the murder, both Naresh and his wife reported their daughter missing to the police, with Naresh pretending not to know anything for a week. The family had recently moved from Mahbubabad district to Miyapur for work, and the murder occurred just 15 days after their arrival in the area. Naresh has been arrested and is now in custody.
