The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) recently held a meeting to discuss their monsoon plan. MD Sudarshan Reddy highlighted the importance of identifying areas prone to water logging and taking measures to prevent sewage overflow onto roads. He also stressed the need for warning signs and grills for deep manholes at work sites.

Tasks related to grill installations were instructed to be completed promptly, with a focus on resolving complaints about polluted water. Any other complaints received through public radio or social media will also be addressed in a timely manner. To prevent contaminated water supplies during the rainy season, authorities were advised to maintain adequate chlorine levels and follow proper sample collection and testing procedures.
