The Lal Bahadur Nagar (L.B.Nagar) Assembly constituency in Hyderabad is currently seeing a competition among potential candidates from the BRS, INC, and BJP parties. The constituency has over 4.5 lakh voters and includes neighborhoods like LB Nagar, Champapet, Karmanghat, and more.

In the last elections held in 2018, D Sudheer Reddy from the INC emerged as the winner with 105,303 votes. He had initially won the MLA seat under the INC ticket but later joined the BRS. Other aspirants like Ram Mohan Goud, K Satyanarayana, and Uppala Srinivas Gupta are also vying for a ticket from BRS. The BJP has performed well in the constituency in recent GHMC elections.

The main issue in this constituency is waterlogging during the monsoon season, especially affecting Saroornagar and BN Reddy residents. Despite promises to address the problem, authorities have not taken adequate action. The Strategic Nala Development Plan (SNDP) works have started but are progressing slowly. Residents face property and vehicle damage due to flooded roads during heavy rains.

The community is hopeful for a resolution to the waterlogging issue and looks forward to the upcoming elections.
