    Hyderabad: A large blood donation camp was held on Tuesday at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate Parade Grounds. This event was part of the Police Martyrs Commemoration Week.

    A total of 464 units of blood were collected during the camp. All the donors were given certificates of appreciation. Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty and Joint Commissioner of Police Traffic, D Joel Davis, inaugurated the camp and also donated blood.

    The Police Commissioner highlighted the importance of donating blood, especially for patients with serious conditions like thalassaemia, blood cancer, haemophilia, and for accident victims. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the camp.

    The event was organized with the help of HDFC Bank and the Indian Red Cross Society. Many people, including CAR Headquarters ADCP Shameer, ACP Arun, law and order inspectors, SIs, volunteers from SCSC, doctors, ministerial staff, and civilians, took part in the camp.
