The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, expressed his sadness over the passing of Hafiz Maulana Muhammad Usman Naqshbandi, who was the Imam and Islamic scholar at Hyderabad Mecca Masjid. KCR said that Maulana’s work over 50 years was impressive, and remembered his contributions to the Telangana movement.
KCR offered his condolences to the family members of Maulana and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
