The Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for allowing admissions to the newly established medical college in Rajanna-Sircilla district. He said that the people of Sircilla will always be grateful to the chief minister for his efforts in making it happen.

The chief minister ordered the expansion of the existing district hospital to accommodate a special medical college with 300 beds. Recently, the National Medical Commission for Medical Assessment and Rating Board gave permission to conduct admissions in Sircilla Medical College from this academic year.

The medical college will be started under Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University in the district and admissions will be taken for 100 MBBS seats. This is a great opportunity for students in Sircilla and surrounding areas to pursue their dreams of becoming doctors.
