A Mega Job Fair was held at Kothagudem Club in Bhadradri Kothagudem District under the direction of Telangana Society for Training and Employment Promotion and the District Collector’s office. The event took place on 01-07-2024 and was attended by individuals who had completed various educational courses and were seeking employment opportunities.
A total of 2450 unemployed individuals who had studied in different courses like SSSC, Intermediate, Diploma, BE, Degree, B.Tech, MTech, MBA, MCA, MCUS, BPharmacy, Empharmacy, and Hotel Management participated in the job fair. Approximately 603 people were offered job opportunities in around 60 private companies during the event. Furthermore, 928 individuals were selected for further interviews, and a total of 1531 people secured jobs through this fair.
During the Job Mela, Kottagudem MLAs and the District Collector inaugurated the event. They encouraged all unemployed individuals to make use of such opportunities and advised those who secured jobs to excel in their roles. Various local officials and officers were also present at the program to support and guide the participants.
Overall, the Mega Job Fair provided a platform for hundreds of job seekers to connect with potential employers and secure employment opportunities in Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
