Mehdipatnam Police have successfully solved a murder case that occurred at Tolichowki and arrested the accused following a violent altercation at a juice center. The incident resulted in the death of a young worker from Bihar after a heated dispute between two employees escalated into a fatal assault.
The accused has been identified as Mofil, son of Saiyyad, aged 22 years, who was working as a Chat Master at Nice Juice Center, Yousuf Tekri, Tolichowki, Hyderabad. He is originally from No.14, Gogra, Araria, Gairki, Bihar – 854311. The deceased, Gularez Alam, was employed at the same establishment as a helper and was also a native of Bihar.
According to police reports, both the accused and the deceased were working together at the juice center when a petty issue led to a heated argument between them. The situation quickly turned violent when Mofil, in a fit of rage, assaulted Gularez Alam with a steel ladle on the head multiple times. The repeated blows caused severe internal head injuries to the victim, who collapsed at the scene.
Following the assault, the victim was immediately shifted by the owner and co-workers to ABS Neuro & Cardiac Hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite the medical intervention, Gularez Alam succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The police were promptly informed about the incident and launched an investigation into the matter.
The Mehdipatnam Police Station staff swiftly apprehended the accused Mofil following the incident. He is scheduled to be produced before the Hon’ble Court on 10.04.2026 for further legal proceedings. The police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into all aspects of the incident.
The DCP, Golconda Zone appreciated the efforts of the Mehdipatnam Police Station staff for their prompt detection and resolution of the case. The senior officer announced suitable rewards for the investigating team in recognition of their efficient work in solving the murder case and bringing the accused to justice.
