Members of Save Indian Family (SIF) Hyderabad Chapter observed Women’s Dignity Day ahead of International Women’s Day. A group of estranged husbands asked for donations to fund their ex-wives’ maintenance in Hyderabad. SIF is a non-funded, non-profit organization that works for men’s rights in India.

N Krishna Rao, a counsellor at SIF Hyderabad, explained that they are celebrating Women’s Dignity Day to raise awareness about biased laws against Indian men. They are seeking funds from the public for their ex-wives’ maintenance. Rao believes that all adults, regardless of gender, are capable of working and earning for themselves.

Rao also emphasized the importance of instilling independence and dignity in his daughter, encouraging her to work for her own sustenance in the future. He highlighted the achievements of working women and urged people to support the concept of women’s dignity through work.
