Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao recently made some interesting comments. He assured that he will discuss with CM Revanth Reddy and work hard to bring back the Nandi awards. Rao believes that artists and sportsmen need encouragement, and it is unfortunate that the process of Nandi awards for the film industry in Telangana had stopped after the formation of the state.

Rao expressed his commitment to reinstating these awards. The C Krishnaveni Satha Vasantha Mahotsava program, which celebrated film actress, singer, and producer C Krishnaveni, was held in Hyderabad. Minister Jupalli was the chief guest at this event held at Prasad Labs Preview Theater in Banjara Hills.

During the event, film actor Murali Mohan spoke about the importance of restarting the Nandi awards. He emphasized that it had been a sad ten years without these awards and highlighted the high respect they hold among film actors.
