    The Minister for Tribal Welfare, Satyavathi Rathod, visited a paddy procurement center in Sriramagiri, Mahbubabad district. She assured farmers that the Telangana government would purchase all the paddy produced by them, regardless of moisture content. The minister also held a meeting with officials where she encouraged farmers to grow commercial crops and emphasized the importance of ensuring the supply of fertilizers and pesticides while keeping a check on spurious seeds. Rathod highlighted that the government had spent Rs 4.5 lakh crore on agriculture in the last nine years and praised the K Chandrasekhar Rao government’s pro-farmer measures. The Mahabubabad MLA, Zilla parishad chairperson, municipal chairman, additional collector, agriculture officer, civil supplies district manager, and civil supplies officer were present during the visit.
